Position Overview

State Farm Insurance Agent located in Madison, New Jersey is seeking an outgoing, career-oriented professional to join their team. As a State Farm team member for Mary Comito-State Farm, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home, life and business insurance.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

Requirements

Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
People-oriented
Self-motivated
Proactive in problem solving
Ability to work in a team environment
Achieve mutually agreed upon marketing goals
Experience in marketing
Ability to meet sales goals
Property and Casualty license (must have currently)
Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
Position may require irregular working hours

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Compensation: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance, College Planning, and Renters Insurance.
Our office is located in Madison, New Jersey.
Our office is open 9am-5pm.
We currently have 7 team members at our agency.
Our agency has received awards including: Chairman's Circle, Ambassador Travel, Legion of Honor, Crystal Excellence Award, National Quality Award, Silver Scroll, Golden Triangle, and Bronze Tablet
